75th Glasgow Taxi Drivers "Outing to Troon"

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Glasgow taxi drivers on their 75th "Outing to Troon"; recognises that, on 15 June 2022, around 120 Glasgow taxi drivers dressed up to escort approximately 300 children with disabilities on a tour around Glasgow, followed by a trip to the seaside, and celebrates the Glasgow taxi drivers, Police Scotland, the people and organisations of Glasgow for donating time and money since 1945 to offer a day of excitement and sandcastle-building to a group of children who would not have had this opportunity without such generosity.
