Congratulations to East Kilbride "Mathlete" Jamie Bonner
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Jamie Bonner from St Louise Primary School in East Kilbride on winning a gold medal in 2022’s Mathematical Challenge; commends the Scottish Mathematical Council, which, it understands, has organised the event for pupils since 1976; notes that the competition challenges junior mathematicians from across Scotland to answer 12 increasingly difficult problems by themselves; recognises the multiple entries from East Kilbride in the 2022 contest; applauds 11-year-old "mathlete", Jamie, on gaining full marks on the last six questions, and sends its best wishes to Jamie for an undoubtedly bright and positive future.
