NCT Centre Café Success at Scotland’s Business Awards 2022

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Centre Perk, the café situated in the Newmains Community Trust Centre, on its success at Scotland’s Business Awards’ Lanarkshire Retail Business Awards 2022; recognises that the café won the Community Award and was recognised for the community spirit which exists within the centre; understands that the café has a focus on supporting the local community with delicious home-made food and drink available to sit-in or take-away, as well as providing catering for any occasion; believes that the café has community wellbeing at heart, and that, with every purchase made, all proceeds go back into developing projects at the NCT, thus supporting local people in the community; praises the Newmains Community Trust and the Centre Perk Café for their dedication and service to the community, and wishes them all the best for the future.
