Kirkcaldy School Pupil Logan Morrison Wins Two Awards for Charity Cycle Run

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Kirkcaldy High School pupil, Logan Morrison, for his charity fundraising, which saw him raise £4,000 with a sponsored cycle run from Edinburgh Castle to Kirkcaldy’s Linton Lane Community Centre in a gruelling 31-mile challenge that he completed in just over three hours; understands that Logan split the money raised between Kirkcaldy Foodbank and Hosting Hope, a community project that hosts free community meals and Christmas dinners at Linton Lane Centre; notes that for his efforts Logan has since been awarded the Jim Raitt Shield from Linton Lane Centre and the Gordon Aikman Charity Cup from Kirkcaldy High School, and commends him for his hard work and his dedication to helping some of the most vulnerable people in the community and selflessly thinking of others and the challenges that they face.
