Jim Ballantyne’s 15 Years at Cambusnethan Miners Social Club

The motion

That the Parliament recognises Jim Ballantyne for his 15 years of presidency at the Cambusnethan Miners Social Club; understands that a presentation night was recently held in Cambusnethan Miners Social Club to thank Jim for his services as a committee member and as president for 15 years; notes that standing committee members Ian Adams and Ian Borthwick presented Jim with a small gift to show their appreciation for all of Jim’s work over the years; understands that Jim played a huge part in helping the Camby Club through the COVID-19 pandemic, and that, with things returning to normality, Jim felt the time was right to step back to spend more time with his family; thanks Jim for his service, and wishes him, and Cambusnethan Miners Social Club all the best for the future.
