Lanarkshire Business Excellence Awards 2022

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates all the businesses that have been nominated for a Lanarkshire Business Excellence Award; understands that four finalists have been shortlisted for an award in each of 10 categories, with those chosen from among a record number of entries to the 2022 annual awards, which celebrate the success and achievements of Lanarkshire businesses; notes that four businesses from the Uddingston and Bellshill constituency are among the finalists, and that these are DMG Services Group Ltd for Best Business (11 – 50 employees), EJ Parker Technical Services for Best Business (51+ employees), The Power Within Training & Development for Best Family Business, and ACS Clothing Ltd for Journey to Net Zero; recognises the significant challenges that businesses across Lanarkshire have experienced as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, and how well the business award nominees have adapted and developed in response to these challenges, and wishes all nominees the very best of luck for the award ceremony, which will be held at Motherwell Concert Hall on 2 September 2022.
