Gartsherrie Bowling Club raise £1,062 for the Coatbridge Community Foodbank

The motion

That the Parliament recognises the terrific fundraising efforts of Gartsherrie Bowling Club during its recent Charity Day; understands that the event raised £1,062 and a huge amount of food donations for the Coatbridge Community Foodbank; recognises that the event was held in memory of Jim McMullen, who was the captain of the club until his recent passing; praises the organising efforts of the club committee; commends in particular the efforts of club president John Greenshields, and past president Scott Fulton, and acknowledges the strength of having an asset such as Gartsherrie Bowling Club in communities across the country.
