Beacon Arts Centre Holds Successful Meliora Festival Weekend

That the Parliament congratulates the Beacon Arts Centre for producing a successful weekend of celebration as part of Inverclyde’s Meliora Festival; understands that this festival was organised to reconnect communities following the COVID-19 pandemic; notes that there were 7,000 attendances at more than 50 events and activities over three days; commends the Beacon Arts Centre for its contribution to the local community, and recognises the effort that went into organising the festival weekend.
