Salmon Bothy Museum, Portsoy
The motion
That the Parliament commends the volunteers whose hard work, friendly welcome, local knowledge and engaging stories make a trip to the Portsoy Salmon Bothy such an engaging visitor attraction in the north east; notes that the museum tells the story of salmon fishing in the north east, as well as the world-renowned geography of the Portsoy area, and recognises the significance of marble production in the Portsoy area and its uses, such as a fireplace made from the marble that is situated in the Palace of Versailles.
