The Bothy Knitters

The motion

That the Parliament commends the work of the Bothy Knitters, Portsoy, a group of 20 people who have met regularly in the Salmon Bothy, Portsoy, since 2009, knitting garments to raise money for charity while also knitting a mural of the Banffshire and Buchan Coast town of Portsoy, and notes what it sees as the positive social impacts that the group has had in the area, including tackling loneliness and helping people in the community with acts of kindness.
