Benarty Gala

The motion

That the Parliament notes the success of the 2022 Benarty Gala, which was held on 26 June 2022; acknowledges that this is the first gala since the COVID-19 pandemic; understands that this event has been sorely missed during the pandemic; further understands that the family day out had lots to see and do, with various stalls and performances; recognises the generosity of local businesses who helped sponsor the event; thanks all volunteers of the Benarty Events Group for the hard work and effort that has gone in to organising the gala over the year; believes that events like this would not be possible without volunteers, who are a credit to their community, and thanks them for this.
