Greenock Weightlifters’ Success at the Scottish Masters Open Weightlifting Competition

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Greenock weightlifters David Owens and Denise Trayling on their success at the Scottish Masters Open; understands that David returned from injury and smashed nine Scottish records on his way to winning the 89 kilo title at the prestigious national competition, while Denise won the 95 kilo women’s title at the Masters event, and wishes the pair all the best at future competitions as they continue to show the strength in depth of experienced local lifters.
