Glasgow Cafes Win Top Prizes at Scottish Cafe Awards 2022
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Cafe Calla and Scran on winning top prizes at the Scottish Cafe Awards 2022; notes that Cafe Calla, which is in the city centre, won the prestigious Best of Glasgow and Best Caffe Food awards, while Scran, which is based in Dennistoun in the city’s east end, won the Local Cafe of the Year award; believes that with hospitality having suffered during the COVID-19 pandemic, it is important that Parliament recognises excellence in this sector, and wishes both cafes success in their future endeavours.
