Louise Russell, Give a Dog a Bone

The motion

That the Parliament applauds Louise Russell from Troon for winning the Pride of Scotland Community Hero Award; notes that Louise was successful in winning this award for setting up the charity, Give a Dog a Bone; understands that the charity provides a community space in Troon and a pet food bank; further understands that the charity aims to use pets to tackle isolation amongst the elderly and animal welfare concerns; recognises that both causes are close to Louise’s heart, and wishes her all the best for the future.
