The motion
That the Parliament understands that Bipolar Scotland’s new Beyond Diagnosis service aims to support adults in Scotland who have recently been diagnosed with bipolar; further understands that support is built around service users and support workers having a "shared experience" as workers and volunteers in the service also live with bipolar; notes that the service will provide practical advice on finances, work situations and education and, it considers, most importantly, help people to come to terms with their diagnosis; congratulates Bipolar Scotland on putting National Lottery Community Funding that it secured to make the Beyond Diagnosis service possible, and further congratulates Bipolar Scotland in keeping a national focus on bipolar, which helps to ensure there is a greater understanding of it in society.
