R&W Scott of Carluke Named Finalist in the 2022 Lanarkshire Business Awards
The motion
That the Parliament commends R&W Scott of Carluke on being named as one of the finalists for the 2022 Lanarkshire Business Awards in the Lanarkshire’s Best Business (51+ employees) category; understands that the awards are hosted by North Lanarkshire Council and South Lanarkshire Council and the Best Business category recognises business for its strong performance records, continued success plans, differentiation from competitors, strong relationships with customers and suppliers, and ambition to improve their business; notes that R&W Scott has been established in the Carluke community for over 145 years, employs over 80 people, and invests in multiple community events; recognises what it sees as the value that local businesses add to the community, and wishes R&W Scott all the best at the awards dinner on 2 September 2022, which it understands is the first awards ceremony since the awards were paused in 2020 for COVID-19.
