The motion

That the Parliament recognises Lanarkshire-based PneumoWave, which is behind pioneering remote patient monitoring technology; understands that the technology can help prevent opioid-related deaths and that PneumoWave is targeting major expansion on the back of its latest fundraiser; recognises that a key priority is reducing the number of deaths resulting from Opioid Induced Respiratory Depression, which it understands can be fatal unless detected early, and notes that the business is at the Series A funding stage, to raise £7.5 million, and that this funding will be used to continue clinical trials, for which there is a list of 10 clinical trials in the pipeline already.
