Live Life Aberdeenshire’s Summer Reading

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes Live Life Aberdeenshire’s Summer Reading activity; notes that the annual reading event has been helping people to increase their reading over the summer for the past 21 years; understands that it is led by Live Life Aberdeenshire’s Library team and has been preparing for the event by visiting local schools to promote the event; notes that people of all ages are being encouraged to take part because reading can help maintain positive mental health and wellbeing, can reduce stress and help aid sleep, and hopes that the event is a great success.
