Banchory Stonehaven Athletic Club’s Alisha Rees Selected for Scotland Commonwealth Games Team

The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Aberdeenshire West athlete, Alisha Rees, on being selected for the Team Scotland Sprint Team at the Commonwealth Games this summer in Birmingham; acknowledges that Alisha set a new national record in the 100m sprint earlier in the year; believes that this selection comes as deserved recognition of the dedication and hard work of Alisha, and wishes Alisha success this summer at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham and in her career ahead.
