MYPAS Awarded £116,400 From The Henry Smith Charity
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates MYPAS on being awarded £116,400 from the Henry Smith Charity; understands that this funding will allow MYPAS to hire a part-time counsellor for East Lothian for three years; acknowledges that this will provide support to 30 young people each year, with arrangements to ensure that care experienced young people can access support quickly, the capability to work with complex cases, and providing specific routes for LGBTQ+ young people; supports the ongoing services on MYPAS within the Midlothian North and Musselburgh constituency, and wishes everyone involved the best going forward with this funding.
