Ayrshire’s Shopping Experience Named Shoppers Café of the Year

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Café @ Cumnock, located within the Cumnock Factory Outlet, on being named Shoppers Café of the Year, in the Scottish Café Awards 2022; understands that the ceremony took place at the Marriott Hotel Glasgow on the evening of 27 June 2022, and hosted over 200 of Scotland’s professionals to recognise and reward the best in the coffee industry; notes that this is the second consecutive year that Café @ Cumnock has won the award and was one of 10 finalists in the category; appreciates that, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the past two years have been challenging for the hospitality industry, and understands that businesses have had to diversify to remain open; applauds the team on their success, and wishes them all the best for the future.
