Troon’s Great Gran Toasts Birthday Milestone
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Troon’s Annie Cooper on celebrating her 100th Birthday; notes that Annie was born in 1922 and worked as a children’s nurse; further notes that she has three children, eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; understands that the centenarian was visited by South Ayrshire Depute Provost, Mary Kilpatrick; further understands that in recognition of her special anniversary, Annie received fresh flowers and a special card from Her Majesty The Queen, and wishes her the best of health and many more birthday celebrations in the years ahead.
