Glasgow Pub Feeding Children in Poverty During School Holidays

That the Parliament congratulates the Butty Bar in Glasgow for helping to feed local children by offering free packed lunches throughout the school holidays; understands that they are giving away 30 packed lunch bags per week to kids of nursery and school age living in the Drumchapel area; further understands that they are inviting struggling families to get in touch privately to access the parcels, even if they have more than one child; understands that the pub chiefs, who launched the charity mission, say that the gesture is aimed purely at local youngsters, and hopes that the packed lunch bags will allow parents to cut down on the cost of taking their children out for the day.
