Erin Burnett, 12-Year-Old Bearsden Runner, Sets Record Running Time

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Erin Burnett, a 12-year-old Bearsden runner, for setting a new fastest time record at the Monument Mile Classic event in Stirling in May 2022; notes that Erin, with a completion time of 5:10:33, completed the mile four seconds faster than the previous record holder; understands that Erin deployed her tactic of staying just behind the leader throughout the race before breaking to overtake just before the finish line, and wishes Erin all the best in future running and sports competitions.
