Man Chat, Scotland’s Champions Awards Nominee

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Man Chat in Aberdeen on being nominated in the Scotland’s Champions Awards, which recognises the efforts of good causes across Scotland; understands that Man Chat provides crucial support in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire for both men and women facing issues such as depression and anxiety, using methods such as mindfulness and wild swimming; recognises what it sees as the vital role groups such as Man Chat plays in reducing the stigma that men face when talking about mental health, and wishes Man Chat and other finalists the best of luck at the awards ceremony in September 2022.
