Kanzen Karate at the WUKF World Karate Championships 2022

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Kanzen Karate on its recent success at the WUKF World Karate Championships 2022; notes that Kanzen Karate is a charity based in Dundee in Angus, which, it believes, builds better lives through the provision of physical activity and education; notes that 20 athletes from Kanzen Karate participated in the WUKF World Karate Championships 2022 for all ages in Fort Lauderdale from 2 to 7 July 2022; understands that the event brought together 1400 competitors from 38 countries in the spirit of friendship and competition, and acknowledges that Kanzen Karate’s group of 20 athletes and two coaches brought home 10 gold medals, nine silver medals and five bronze medals, with the group placing five out of 56 national federations in attendance.
