Charity Golf Day Raises £12,000 for CFINE

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates north east businesses on raising over £12,000 for CFINE, a charity and food bank based in Aberdeen; understands that the funding was raised through a fundraising golf day at Banchory Golf Club, which was hosted by Red Wing, an Altens-based PPE business; further understands that a total of 72 golfers participated, with the aim of supporting those in financial hardship and in poverty; understands that this £12,000 contribution helps deliver essential services such as access to food parcels and budgeting advice to individuals and families facing financial insecurity and food poverty; commends the north east businesses, Red Wing, CFINE and the golfers for managing and participating this event, and wishes all involved every success in the future.
