Kinghorn RNLI Set to Hold First Open Day Since 2019

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Kinghorn RNLI after it has named a date for its first open day event since 2019; understands that the event has not been held since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and will feature many attractions including a rescue demonstration by the lifeboat, Newfoundland rescue dog demonstrations, beach games, and sea safety advice, and commends the RNLI staff and crews for what it sees as their tireless dedication in serving the local community, not only by providing vital rescue services, but also for their community spirit in offering community events and fundraisers.
