East Ayrshire Council Catering Staff

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates East Ayrshire Council Catering staff on maintaining the gold standard for another year; notes that the staff won the highest possible award in the Food for Life Served Here gradings, which, it understands, judge the quality of the area’s school meals; understands that to achieve the gold level award, food providers must show that they spend at least 15% of the ingredients from UK producers and take further steps to make healthy eating easier, and wishes them well for the new school term in August 2022.
