24-Hour Fishing Event Raises £22,000 for the River Dee Trust

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the River Dee Trust on raising over £22,000 to support the Trust in its activities; understands that the funding was raised through a 24-hour fishing event on the River Dee; further understands that this £22,000 contribution helps the Trust carry out river restoration, salmon research and education; acknowledges the 33 participants from across the UK involved in the 24-hour fishing event, supporting the activities of the Trust; commends the Trust in its work to date, and wishes all involved success in the future.
