Kirkcaldy and District Men's Shed Moves to New Base in Town

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Kirkcaldy and District Men’s Shed after finding a new base in the town to further address the issue of social isolation in the community; understands that the charity has been searching for a new home since before the COVID-19 pandemic after several break-ins at its former base in Kirkcaldy; further understands that after four years of trying to find a suitable building for the group, the Men’s Shed finally found its forever home in the former changing pavilion in Kirkcaldy’s Ravenscraig Park, and commends the charity for what it sees as its excellent work in addressing social isolation and with community events and community education.
