McKechnie School of Dance and Performing Arts' Success at Dance World Cup 2022

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates McKechnie School of Dance and Performing Arts in Grangemouth, Falkirk on their success while representing Scotland at the Dance World Cup 2022, which was held in San Sebastián, Spain; notes that this prestigious competition included 120,000 entrants from 62 countries around the world; further notes that McKechnie School of Dance and Performing Arts successfully gained 11 World Championship titles, 98 gold medals, 66 silver medals and 112 bronze medals for the Scotland Team at the Dance World Cup 2022; acknowledges the achievement of all pupils at McKechnie School of Dance and Performing Arts obtaining a minimum of one medal each; commends the dedication and effort from both competitors and those involved in McKechnie School of Dance and Performing Arts’ success; congratulates McKechnie School of Dance and Performing Arts on their huge achievements at the Dance World Cup 2022, and wishes them every success in the future.
