Aboyne Highland Games Supports Local Groups

The motion

That the Parliament celebrates that Aboyne Highland Games has donated £300 to Charleston Rovers Football Club, £250 to Deeside Day Care Centre and £250 to Lumphanan Gala Committee; understands that these donations were made possible due to the success of Aboyne Highland Games, which will return on the 6 August 2022 for the first time since 2019; recognises that this funding will be used to support projects and events run by these groups for the local community, and commends Aboyne Highland Games for its commitment to supporting local community groups.
