Craighelen Lawn Tennis and Squash Club is Club of the Year

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Craighelen Lawn Tennis and Squash Club on being chosen as club of the year by West ofScotland Squash for 2021-22; notes that both the first and second teams wontheir respective divisions in the West Leagues; further notes that the firstteam have been duly promoted to the second division, earning 13 match wins overthe course of the season; notes that the second team were close to achieving anundefeated season in securing the title; congratulates members of the club for beingambassadors for the sport in a bid to encourage others to try their hand atsquash and on welcoming players of all abilities and those who have neverplayed the sport before to join, and welcomes their initiative in holding a‘try squash’ session at the club on 6 August 2022 as part of ‘Love Squash’ weekto further promote the sport.
