Deveronvale Community Football Club, Health and Social Benefits

The motion

That the Parliament recognises what it sees as the innovative work of Deveronvale Community FC; understands that the UEFA GROW Social Return on Investment Report Deveronvale Community FC - Valuation Report 2021 highlights the positive economic, health and social benefits that the football club provides to the local community; further understands from the report that, looking at the club's activities through a wellbeing lens, rather than a purely economic lens, Deveronvale Community FC’s overall yearly contribution to the local economy equates to £1.75 million per year; commends Deveronvale Community Club for what it sees as this innovative approach, embracing a wellbeing economic model, and thanks all volunteers and staff whose contribution and efforts bring so much to the local community economically and socially.
