Derek Dunsire Selected to Represent Kirkcaldy at World Scout Jamboree

That the Parliament congratulates Kirkcaldy man Derek Dunsire for being one of three Fife scout volunteers selected to represent the UK at the World Scout Jamboree in 2023; understands that Derek will be one of 950 adult volunteers selected from across the country to help deliver the Jamboree through the International Service Team (IST); further understands that the Jamboree will be the largest scout camp to be held since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and will see 50,000 young people come together for a skills, cultural and adventure festival in South Korea in August 2023; notes that ahead of July 2023 Derek will be supporting his local unit of young people that are attending the World Scout Jamboree by spending time on personal development and using their journey to South Korea to inspire others in the local area, and wishes Derek and the rest of the scouts a successful Jamboree.
