Lynne McDermott Honoured by Slimming World for Exceptional Work

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Lynne McDermott for being honoured by Slimming World for exceptional work; understands that she has helped a total of 158 members who have collectively lost 554 stones in weight; further understands that new members have lost an average of at least four pounds or more in their first week; believes that Lynne’s commitment to the group has earned her the first gold-plus award to be awarded in Scotland by Slimming World; understands that the accolade is given to consultants who consistently have 100 or more members in their group over several months, and who provide exceptional service; considers that this award represents the highest level of service, making Lynne one of the most successful of Slimming World’s 4,000 consultants; commends Lynne for helping tackle obesity and weight-related health issues in Fife, such as diabetes, heart conditions, and feelings of low self-worth, and wishes Lynne and her members the very best in their weight-loss journey.
