Heather Denham Fundraises for the Baby Loss Retreat

The motion

That the Parliament commends the fundraising efforts of Heather Denham from East Kilbride in support of the Baby Loss Retreat; notes that the Baby Loss Retreat was founded in 2018 as a free-of-charge retreat to help families affected by early birth bereavement and has premises in Bellshill, Airdrie and Glasgow; understands that Heather’s relationship with the charity began when it supported her following the loss of her baby girl Jorgia, 20 weeks into her pregnancy, and that Heather is now employed by the Baby Loss Retreat and is a passionate advocate for people affected by baby loss; wishes Heather, and everyone taking part in the fundraising rave at Digital Nightclub in Hamilton, every success, and hopes that the money raised will allow Baby Loss Retreat to continue to support women and families affected by baby loss.
