Lynsey Hopper, Prestwick
The motion
That the Parliament applauds Lynsey Hopper, from Prestwick, for signing up to run the London Marathon in October 2022 to raise money for SANDS, the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society; understands that Lynsey’s daughter, Eva, was born sleeping in February 2018, and therefore, the charity is close to Lynsey’s heart after they provided her with support; recognises that Lynsey hopes to break the taboo of the conversation surrounding baby loss; commends Lynsey for her fundraising efforts, and wishes her the very best in the upcoming marathon.
