Landed, 20th Anniversary

The motion

That the Parliament acknowledges that in August 2022, Landed in Wishaw celebrated its 20th anniversary; understands that Landed is a young persons’ charity, which works across Lanarkshire promoting messages of harm reduction on topics such as drugs, alcohol, tobacco and sexual health through professional and peer support; notes that the group was established in 2002 as part of NHS Lanarkshire, to engage and raise awareness with children and young adults; believes that it has grown into a well-established third sector charity organisation, providing support, training, health and wellbeing sessions within the community, and congratulates and thanks all the staff, volunteers and young people, past and present who, it believes, have contributed to the success of Landed over the past 20 years.
