Lochgelly Gala 2022

The motion

That the Parliament notes the success of the 2022 Lochgelly Gala, which was held on 14 August 2022; acknowledges that this is the first gala since the COVID-19 pandemic; understands that this event has been sorely missed by all during the pandemic; further understands that the family day out had lots to see and do, with various stalls and performances for all ages; recognises the generosity of local businesses who helped to sponsor the event; thanks all volunteers for the hard work and effort that has gone into organising the gala over the year; considers that events like this would not be possible without volunteers, who, it believes, are a credit to their community, and thanks them for this.
