Shotts Bon Accord Girls Football Team Gain Lottery Funding
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Shotts Bon Accord Girls, the first girls football team in Lanarkshire, on receiving over £7,600 from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that since the launch of the team, Coach Denise Dickson has increased the number of players from nine girls to 36 girls over three teams, under-12s, under-8s and under-7s; further understands that the Lottery money will help purchase kits, equipment and pay pitch fees, and wishes the Bon Accord Girls all the best in the future.
