Greenbrae Primary Green Flag Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Greenbrae Primary for achieving the Green Flag Award from the environmental charity, Keep Scotland Beautiful, for their commitment to tackling climate change and raising environmental awareness; understands that in order to obtain the Green Flag award, the school had a choice of topics to engage with ranging from reducing energy usage, improving biodiversity and reducing water usage among others, in addition to their choice of one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals; notes that the award is intended to develop the capacities, skills and attributes of pupils required to protect the planet and work towards the goal of a Net Zero future; commends all Greenbrae Primary pupils and staff who have been involved in achieving the award, and wishes them all the best for the future.
