Ladies Do Lunch Event Raises £46,050 for Charity

The motion
That the Parliament commends Ladies Do Lunch for raising an incredible £46,050 at their lunch event in King George V Park, Banchory on 29 July 2022; notes that £23,025 each will be donated to ABERnecessities and Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland; understands that the donation to Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland will fund 1,150 hours of support for people living with chest, heart and stroke conditions; further understands that the event was generously supported by a number of local businesses who donated auction prizes and hosted stalls, and commends the organisers Kathleen Simpson, Sarah Smith and Stephanie Scott for their tremendous efforts in organising this event and all those who attended and supported this event.
