Emtec Energy Achieves Ecovadis Gold Status

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Emtec Energy, who deliver renewable energy projects throughout the UK, on achieving Gold Status in their first ever EcoVadis assessment; notes that a Gold Status rating places Emtec Energy among the top five percent of companies assessed by EcoVadis, which, it understands, rates tens of thousands of companies in 160 countries against a broad range of non-financial management systems including Environmental, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement impacts, and considers that by achieving Gold Status, Emtec Energy, part of the Uddingston headquartered Emtec Group, is demonstrating leadership by committing to positively impacting the environment, fostering transparency and driving innovation.
