Wemyss Bay Train Station Named One of the Most Beautiful Railway Stations in the World

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the news that Wemyss Bay Railway Station has featured on House and Garden’s list of the most beautiful train stations in the world, and is the only station in Scotland to be listed; notes that the station is ranked 34th out of 37 stations recognised for their architecture, and is listed alongside world-famous stations such as Grand Central Terminal; understands that Wemyss Bay Train Station has featured in TV adverts and films, highlighting how beautiful the location is, and hopes that this accolade will encourage more people to visit the area by rail and will help boost tourism in Inverclyde.
