Bridge of Weir Primary Achieves LGBT Charter at Gold Level

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Bridge of Weir Primary on achieving the LGBT Charter at Gold level; recognises what it sees as the hard work and dedication of pupils and staff in achieving this prestigious award from LGBT Youth Scotland; understands that the award recognises good practice in providing opportunities for safe, open discussion between staff and pupils, and welcomes the training and the review of policies, practice and resources that aim to ensure that Bridge of Weir Primary goes beyond meeting legislative needs and is as inclusive as it can be for pupils, staff, parents and the wider community.
