Vale FC Wins the Pan-disability Scottish Cup
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Vale FC on winning the Pan-disability Scottish Cup; notes that the pan-disability football team was formed by Alan Skelton, who now coaches the side, and school friends, Connor McFall and Cameron Bonner, in 2012, while they were pupils at the Vale of Leven Academy; acknowledges that they took home their first ever Pan-disability Scottish Cup, beating Dalkeith Thistle 1-0 in the final in Falkirk, on 14 August 2022; recognises that the team gives people with a range of disabilities the chance to get involved in sport and make friends at the same time, and wishes them every success in the future.
