Bothwell's Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland Shop Becomes Even More Accessible for Customers

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the news that the Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland shop in Bothwell, South Lanarkshire hasintroduced a tool to make shopping more accessible for disabled customers;understands that the WelcoMe tool allows people to share their access needsprior to visiting a store, allowing both the customer and shop staff to plan inadvance for a retail visit, ensuring that the shop team have the informationthey need so that the customer receives a warm and professional welcome, andfurther understands that Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland, who support peopleliving with chest, heart and stroke conditions to live their lives to the full,hopes to enhance the shopping experience for their customers and make surestaff and volunteers can easily access training to deliver the best possibleservice for all of their customers.
