Team Jak Foundation Receives Funding to Support Young Scots and Families
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Team Jak Foundation on receiving a £625 charitable donation from the Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation, to allow the charity to continue to provide practical, social and emotional support to children and young people under 25 with cancer and related illnesses, as well as supporting the family and friends and those bereaved; understands that the donations will help fund social events, including treat days and arts and crafts workshops for families in Aberdeen; notes that the Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation is funded through the Small Change Big Difference scheme where members annually donate the pennies from the interest on their accounts to aid smaller charities with similar worthy causes around the UK, and commends the Team Jak Foundation for its inspirational work and to all those donating to such an admirable cause.
